Elliot Lake – First Class Trails, World Class Experience!

Elliot Lake invites you to experience incredible ATV adventures; from scenic vistas to unexplored rock faces to pristine lakes, old growth forest and rolling hills.  Families, couples and riders of all skill levels are invited to travel through our richly diverse landscapes. More than 300 kms of ATV looped, signed, mapped and GPS designated trails in the Elliot Lake area link to everything from pristine lakes to hotels, restaurants, gas stations and even local dealerships.  The trail system is designed to accommodate both the seasoned and novice rider.

The following describes three of our runs; all 4 – 6 hours duration.

  • Prospectors Run  - Offers newbie riders a chance to improve their ATV prowess while immersed in pristine nature at it’s most sensational.  Riders will journey through a section of trail carved through the rock of the Canadian Shield.

  • Whiskey Lake Run – Offers the average Joe an opportunity to travel deep into the heart of Northern Ontario, along natural unpolished trails bordered by majestic lakes.  The Whiskey Lake run truly takes riders back to nature offering rugged, extreme wilderness for the aspiring hard-riding enthusiasts.

  • Boardwalk Run – Offers the extreme rider the opportunity to trek across rock beds amidst old growth forests.  The challenging and varied terrain will satisfy the appetites of the rugged, hard-riding enthusiasts.  The rock-bound landscape will test the skill of even the most extreme ATVer.

MATTAWA

In Mattawa ride your ATV from your accommodation to the trailhead and then experience 150 kilometers of diverse trails.

The trail system is nestled between two small mountain ranges, the Algonquin Highlands and the Laurentian Mountains, and is bordered by the Mattawa and Ottawa Rivers. This site-seeing paradise with constantly changing terrain offers the bold ATV adventurer challenging rock climbs and wet muddy areas.
